From 12th to 14th of May, Bayburt University will organize the 2nd International Symposium and Workshop of Applied Business Management and Economics Researches, where the Dean of FEAS, Prof. Dr. Violeta Madjova, is an invited speaker.
II International Symposium and Workshop of Applied Business Management and Economics Researches will be held at Bayburt University in Bayburt, Turkey. Both the symposium and the workshop have the aim of examining the general trends that transform the nature of work focused on adapting to the business conditions of the modern age, surviving in challenging working life, and focusing on new talents.
The event will start with the workshop entitled “Digitalization and the New Economic Order”, while on the second and the third day, the symposium program will be held. The economic and social effects of emerging trends in new digital production technologies, their effects on national economies and global economic systems, and the role of policy in steering the digital revolution in a socially desirable direction will be discussed. Digital technologies will also play a role in determining the evolving international economic division of labor through, among other things, their impact on global value chains and thus the future position of developing countries in the global economy.
In this context, the workshop will also link to the current debates around “late development” and “early deindustrialization”.
