The International Balkan University is founded in 2006 by the Foundation for Education and Culture “ÜSKÜP”. It is a foundation, non-profitable university, located in the heart of the Balkans, in the Republic of North Macedonia.

The International Balkan University is an internationally recognized university where students from 15 countries study, with a world-class campus in Skopje. Students are also offered a dynamic application of the Erasmus + program and a full scholarship for student mobility in one of the 200 universities in 40 countries with which IBU collaborates, and modern study programs that allows starting a career immediately after graduation.

The International Balkan University is accredited for undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral studies in various fields, and the same can be found here (https://www.ibu.edu.mk/programs/). In accordance with the latest trends in education, our study programs correspond to the challenges of today and tomorrow. There is also a Preparatory Programme for English Language for those students who lack sufficient knowledge of English, delivering around 1000 hours of teaching and practice within a year.

IBU started its higher – education activities in the academic year 2006/2007 by covering the areas of Economic and Administrative Sciences and engineering.

Today, Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences – FEAS offers international oriented education at first, second and third cycle studies (see more on this link https://www.ibu.edu.mk/feas).

In terms of scientific publications, research projects, and seminar series, our academic staff regularly organizes and takes part in International Conferences and Congresses through the network of partner universities in the region and wider, as IBU has international agreement with over 150 Universities throughout the world.
